MAX KLEINMAN
President & Founder
For close to 20 years, Max Kleinman was the vice president/CEO of Jewish Federation of Greater MetroWest New Jersey, the 8th largest federation in the United States. He was Executive Vice President of the Jewish Community Foundation of Greater MetroWest NJ, the New Jersey Jewish News, and serves on numerous philanthropic boards.
He has written a weekly blog, “‘Max’imum Potential,” a collection of thoughts about what is important to the Greater MetroWest community, since 2008, and is a co-author of “Up Close and Personal: Perspectives on the MetroWest Experience (UJC MetroWest Press, 2012), author of "Maximum Potential": Perspectives on the Greater Metrowest and Jewish Experience, Jewish Federation of Greater Metrowest Press, Whippany, NJ, 2014, and over a dozen other publications.
Throughout his career he has raised millions of dollars for senior citizen housing and assisted living and it is a cause that is dear to his heart.
He is married to Gail Kleinman, a psychotherapist, has two children and two grandchildren, and is a member of Congregation Agudath Israel in Caldwell, NJ.
